Xero Sync Update

Two-way contact sync with Xero is now live, along with significantly faster invoice push times and support for multi-currency invoices.
The Xero integration has been substantially upgraded in this release. The most significant change is two-way contact synchronisation - customer and supplier records now stay in sync between Zigaflow and Xero automatically, eliminating the need to maintain contact details in both systems.
Two-way contact sync
Contact records are now synchronised in both directions. New customers created in Zigaflow appear in Xero within minutes; new contacts created in Xero are pulled into Zigaflow on the next sync cycle. Updates to contact details - address changes, new contact names, updated payment terms - are reflected in both systems automatically.
Initial sync
When you first enable two-way sync, Zigaflow will perform a full reconciliation of your existing contacts. This typically takes 2 to 5 minutes depending on the number of contacts in your account. You will receive a notification when it is complete.
Faster invoice push
Invoice push times to Xero have been reduced by approximately 70 percent. Invoices previously took up to 45 seconds to appear in Xero after being marked as sent in Zigaflow. They now appear within 5 to 10 seconds in most cases. This improvement applies to both individual invoice pushes and batch exports.
Multi-currency invoices
Invoices raised in non-GBP currencies - USD, EUR, AUD, CAD, and ZAR - are now pushed to Xero with the correct currency code and exchange rate. Previously, non-GBP invoices were pushed in GBP at face value, which caused reconciliation issues for businesses with international customers.
Review historical non-GBP invoices
If you have previously pushed non-GBP invoices to Xero, those historical records will have been created in GBP. These are not automatically corrected by this update. If accurate multi-currency records are needed for historical periods, those invoices will need to be manually reviewed in Xero.
