A complete overhaul of the quoting interface - faster to build, easier to read, and now with inline margin visibility on every line item.
The quoting module has been rebuilt from the ground up. The new interface reduces the number of steps required to build a quote from eight to three, with product selection, pricing, and preview all accessible from a single screen. For businesses generating 20 or more quotes a week, the time saving is significant.
What has changed
The product selection panel is now persistent on the left side of the screen, so you can add line items without navigating away from the quote. Supplier costs and selling prices update in real time as you type, and the margin percentage for each line is visible at a glance - no more switching to a separate view to check whether a job is hitting your target.
Quote templates have been moved to a more prominent position in the interface. If you have standard configurations you quote regularly - for example, a standard event pack or a common branded garment combination - these can now be applied in a single click from the new templates panel.
Margin threshold warnings
You can now set a minimum margin threshold in your account settings. If any line item falls below that threshold, it is flagged with a visual indicator before the quote is sent. This catches pricing errors at the quoting stage rather than discovering them when the supplier invoice arrives.
Set your margin threshold
Go to Settings → Quoting → Margin threshold and set the minimum acceptable margin for your business. Most promotional merchandise distributors set this between 30 and 35 percent. The system will flag any line below that figure without blocking you from sending the quote.
Quote PDF updates
The generated PDF has been updated with a cleaner layout, better typography, and improved handling of long product descriptions. The Zigaflow branding has been reduced further - the quote looks like it comes from your business, not from your software provider.
Existing templates
Your existing quote templates and saved configurations have been migrated automatically. If you notice any formatting differences in previously saved templates, you can edit and re-save them from the templates panel.
